Success Story

“I have made a lot of progress and I am looking forward to going home.”

Ms. Thelma Howard was admitted to Restore Health and Rehab Center for some intensive therapies to improve her overall strength, function and independence. She had a fall at home, and this weakened her ability to walk and resulted in decline in function which prevented immediate and safe return to home with her family following her short hospital stay.  The Reliant therapy team worked with Ms. Howard to create a plan to achieve her goals and increase her independence for her to safely return home.

Ms. Howard worked hard in therapy and made excellent progress each day. She is completing all her self-care tasks with no assistance needed, walking household distances safely and has improved her overall function and strength significantly. She is very happy to be able to return home with her family! Congrats Ms. Howard, you were a pleasure to have at Restore and we wish you the best!
